Originally from Des Moines, Iowa, Hall Of Famer/Custom Car Builder, LEE PRATT, has come up with some mega-award winners through the years. BUT one of his best-remembered cars is his truly fabulous 1941 Buick !
In this Exclusive Interview, Lee told me the "how's & why's" of building this remarkable street machine - one of the FIRST pre-48 Street Rods to use hydraulics - what he thought about what was done to the car after he sold it, and also talks about the HOF Legends WebSite
Lee is a laid-back gentleman with more talent and creativity than almost any 2 people I know. When it comes to building custom cars he can do it all: design, hammer, weld, paint...well, you get the idea. Lee's cars have been featured in Rod & Custom, Street Rodder, Custom Rodder, The Rodder's Journal, and many, many other mags through the years.
Just enjoy hearing him tell his own story of this "Fabulous '41" for the first time on the Hall Of Fame Legends Series ! JK
