HE OWNS SOME OF THE MOST AWARD WINNING CARS that have been built during the last two decades, and , in addition, with 4 Grammies to his credit, he's one of the most respected guitarists in the Music Industry. But with all of that acclaim & recognition, JIMMIE VAUGHAN is just a music lover & car guy like the rest of us.
We had a great conversation at Darryl Starbird's National Rod & Custom Hall Of Fame and, even though he was suffering slightly from the effects of a cold, Jimmie was as nice as he could be...answering all of the questiions that I put to him. And, I DID have a lot of things to ask him about !
Some of those concerned his multiple-award winning '63 Riviera: a Lime-Gold beauty done in collaboration with his friend & fellow-Hall Of Famer, GARY HOWARD. PLUS, Jimmie's a Grammy Award Winner 4-times-over, and I wanted his input on acheiveing that remarkable accomplishment.
Jimmie Vaughan is a Texan. Born and raised in the Dallas area, now a long-time resident of Austin. He's proud of his connections with the R&C Industry, the Music Industry, and his Texas & American Heritage.
