FRANK LIVINGSTON, like most of us reading this (and listening to the stories on this WebSite), has had a lifelong fascination with cars...especially Custom Cars.
His first Award Winning Custom was a '49 Chevy Fastback that debuted at the Oakland Show in 1955. He's had many others since that time, but in 2001 at his wife's (Kathy) suggestion, he decided to "semi clone" a version of that first Multiple-Award Winner !
The "not-quite-a-clone" newest version was handled by Oz Welch, with Oz doing both the body work & paint. Bob Devine stitched up the interior.
This stunning Pagan Gold Fastback debuted at the Grand National Roadster Show in 2002 and was Awarded the Outstanding Nostalgia Trophy !
HERE THEN IS THE STORY of that car, as Frank and I finally got together to record & document his history. He's got lots of stories to tell, and this was the first of many from this NorCal Legend AND Original Member of the infamous "Satan's Angels" Club ! You'll hear these ONLY on our "Hall Of Fame Legends Series" ! JK
SPECIAL NOTE: Frank's account of the intricate painting process done on this car is worth listening to twice !!
