WHEN HE WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL, BO HUFF, had a good buddy named John Douglas. John cruised his area of Utah, with Bo riding "shotgun" most of the time, and since Bo never had a car himself in those days, John's '56 Chevy 210 was the ride of choice for both of 'em !
John passed away many, many years ago, but that '56 Chevy still burned hot in Bo's memory banks...so awhile back, he decided to put one together and relive some of those cool memoires.
BUT, if you know Bo, he styled it in his own iconic way, and that's what I wanted to talk to him about in this late-night Interview we did at the 33rd Annual KKOA Lead Sled Spectacular in Salina, Kansas.
Bo's a good friend who's paid his dues a long time ago, and from his home-base in Utah, cranks out some of the coolest, tastiest rides you'll ever see !
THIS LITTLE '56 IS TRULY one sweet ride, and as you'll hear Bo tell in the Interview, he kept it close to the way John's car was...but improved on it with his own special signature mods.
BO HUFF WAS A GREAT FRIEND, and was one of the nicest, most talented builder's to ever light-up a torch. He went through a lot with many health problems the last few years of his life, and, sadly, passed away on August 4th, 2015.
We usually talked to each other every week or so, and, even during his illness, his spirit and desire to keep cranking out great customs still ignited him to not only want to "raise the bar", but to "set the bar" for others to follow.
I'm so glad that we were able to do all of the Interviews that we did during the year's, because now Bo's great stories about his life, his cars, and his passion for everything to do with Rods & Customs, can be heard right here on the HOF Legends Site for all to learn from and enjoy !
R.I.P., my friend. Like you always said, we were like "family".
