GENE WINFIELD IS TRULY ONE OF THE longest-running Pioneers & Legends in the Rod & Custom Industry.
Gene & I again spent some quality-time together at the 33rd Annual KKOA Leadsled Spectacular in Salina, Kansas, and did one of our usual "late nite" Interview Sessions...this one started at about 12:30am, Gene was just getting his "second wind" and we nailed down some cool info !
WE COVERED MANY TOPICS, like the one about his beautiful "Pacifica" which is on the Site. Gene is truly a Master Craftsman, and has chopped & channeled many cars throughout his career, BUT one of the topics I've wanted to cover this time was the "Art Of Sectioning". SO, that's what you'll hear in this Interview !
THE JADE IDOL was the first car that Gene sectioned and, in more recent years, he's done the same to his own '58 Impala Hardtop. It's not an easy process, and is not for the faint of heart to tackle if you don't have the skills !
He is a perfectionist about every car he builds, and one of the nicest Pros you'll ever meet...he's been building some of the coolest rides on the planet for almost 70 years and he's never stopped yet: GENE WINFIELD !!
Listen and learn ! JK

SPECIAL NOTE: Gene travels WorldWide to Australia, Canada, Japan, and, almost anywhere you can name, and in 2013 we were proud to have him in St. Louis so all his R&C fans in the St. Louis Metro Area could get a chance to meet him...and he truly wowed the crowd with the GREAT Seminar that he gave !
