CRUSIN' SINCE 1957: The Crusin' Capitol of the Mid-West IS St. Louis' CHUCK-A-BURGER !
A PERSONAL NOTE: I've Cruised at "Chuck" since it first opened in 1957: at first with my friends and family for many years, and again when my career in Broadcasting brought me back home to St. Louis.
The owners' -Ralph, Ron & Charlot Stille-have been friends of mine for years. Ralph was one of the original managers and later purchased the facility. Shortly before he passed away he sold Chuck-A-Burger to his son, Ron, and, grandson Ryan, who own it today.
If you're in the St. Louis Area, be sure to stop in and savor the fun, hospitality, and great food in this truly legendary St. Louis Landmark ! In fact, if you do, make sure to ask for Ryan or Ron, and tell 'em you heard about here on "The Legends Of The Hall Of Fame" ! While you're there look for me ! I'm usually there every week whether there's a Cruise Nite or not...I love those Chuck-A-Burgers !!
AND, YES, they still have Car Hops & Curb Service !!
Above: This is what the Original location looked like when I first Cruised there in '57. Guess what: it still looks the same today ! A St. Louis Landmark in every sense of the word !
