LOU CALASIBETTA (THE OLD STILLWATER GARAGE) IS ONE OF THE NEWEST Members of the KKOA Hall Of Fame, having been Inducted in the ceremonies at the 30th Anniversary of the KKOA in Salina, Kansas, in July, 2010.
Lou is not only a longtime friend, but has been one of THE BEST Restorers & Customizers on the East Coast for almost 4 Decades.

IN PAST STORIES we've covered his restoration of the Alexander Brother's "Golden Chariot" & "Golden Indian", as well as his own rides like the "Surfari" and his beautiful chopped '51 Merc. We also talked about the "Bonnewood" '58 Pontiac Wagon, as well as his Historic Shop...which was originally a 19th Century Blacksmith shop.
BUT, THIS TIME, I wanted to both congratulate Lou on his Induction, which I attended, AND, get his feelings on his KKOA Hall Of Fame Status.
LOU CALASIBETTA is a laid back, talented craftsman. He's a friend to many, a good family man, and deserves any and all of the accolades that ever come his way ! JK
