LATER STEVE FRISBIE'S talents pushed him toward branching out into not only fantastic, award winning Rods & Customs, but with his previous history as a restorer, he also created a line of products and special bodies to add to the state-of-the-art shop he and his crew operate out of in Portland, Oregon.
STEVE'S AUTO RESTORATIONS (S.A.R.) has been cranking out some of the most beautiful, roadworthy machines that the Industry has ever seen, and on the day of his Induction into Darryl Starbird's National Rod & Custom Hall Of Fame, Steve & I spent some quality time going over his long career as a restorer, and, how he co-ordinates projects with new customers.
STEVE knows his craft insidc-and-out; his observations are as perfect as they can be, and as you listen to his stories, you'll come to respect the work that he and his crew puts into every Rod & Custom that leaves their shop. JK
